Ameerah Childcare has been open since 2016 when I first moved to Federal Way,
WA. I am a first-generation immigrant who came to America at a young age with children and
goals to set up a better living situation for myself and my family. My home was always open to
kids in the neighborhood my children’s friends always preferred my house and I honestly think it
was because of the food that I was always cooking. I learned that it was my love language,
bringing all different backgrounds together because of food that filled bellies, my house was a
safe place for a lot of people and that brought me much joy. I did well raising them and making a
safe space for everyone. So when started the daycare it felt like a no-brainer, bringing more
families that turned into my families, helping them raise their children, and making a village out
of the “it takes a village” quote. Ameerah childcare is culture, it’s learning, about ourselves and
about other people and taking in the similarities we all have for one another. After almost 10
years, the love and community are as big as ever, I strive for the best. Come meet us at
Ameerah Childcare!
